The eligibility
Criteria for Recruitment, as on 31st July,2013 be as under:
Nationality: A candidate applying for
recruitment in the Company must be either:
(a) citizen of India,
(a) citizen of India,
(b) a subject of Nepal
(c) a subject of Bhutan
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to
India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of settling
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated
from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African
countries
with the intention of permanently settling in India.
The online registration commences on 16th july 2013
The online registration closes on 3rd august 2013
Payment of fees for application 17th july 2013 to 7th august 2013
Date of written exam 8th September 2013
However, the Company
reserves the right to alter the aforesaid arrangement.
Educational
Qualification as on 31.07.2013:
For Generalist Stream, a
candidate must possess the minimum qualification of a Degree in any discipline
from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualification recognized as such
by Central Government.
For Specialist Stream
a candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Degree in the relevant
discipline from a
recognized University OR any equivalent qualification recognized as such by
central government.

8 Legal Graduate in
Law.
9 Generalist Graduate in any stream.
NOTE:
a)
Qualifications mentioned above should be from any of the recognized
Indian Universities duly
approved by the UGC or
any of the recognized Indian Institutes duly approved by AICTE.
b)
Preference will be given to the candidates having post qualification
experience in their area of
specialization.
NOTE:
(i) In case of a
candidate who is eligible for relaxation under more than one of the above
categories,
the age relaxation
will be available on a cumulative basis subject to the maximum age not
exceeding 45 years.
(ii) Candidates
seeking age relaxation will be required to submit copies of necessary certificate(s)
and produce the
original certificate(s) for verification.
How to apply :
Guidelines for filling
online application: Candidates should have valid email ID.
This will help him/her
in getting call letter, Interview advices etc. by e-mail.
i) Candidates should
first scan their photograph and signature as detailed under guidelines for
scanning the
photograph and signature.(Refer point no. 12)
ii)
Candidates to visit “www.nationalinsuranceindia.com” and open the
appropriate
Online Application Format given under “Recruitment” Link.
iii) The system would
generate a bank challan in triplicate wherein relevant particulars of the
Candidate are
mentioned and should take a printout of the challan immediately.
iv)
With the printout of the challan, the Candidate should visit the nearest branch
of State
Bank
of India to deposit the appropriate fees in cash only in Account no.32968716721
in
favour
of 'NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY LTD'. Fee payment will be accepted from
17th
July 2013 to 7th August 2013.
v) After 3 days from
date of receipt of fees, the candidate can check their application status in
the
website and take a
printout of the complete application and fees payment challan which should
be retained by them
for future reference.
viii) At the time of
written examination, they should submit one copy of the challan
Selection
Procedure : Candidates will be called for a written
examination to be held on
8th September 2013.
The written test will
be both Objective & Descriptive type.
